Planning & Zoning Commission

The Planning and Zoning Commission (PZC) works to create an official Comprehensive Plan for the present and future development of the Village. Upon adoption of the plan, PZC works to recommend plans for specific improvement in the pursuit of the official plan.

In addition, PZC holds public hearings to provide recommendations to the Village Board on applications for new development, special uses, map amendments and amendments to zoning regulations within the Municipal Code.

The commission consists of up to seven members appointed by the Village President with the advice and consent of the Board of Trustees. The commission holds regular meetings as needed, typically on the fourth Monday of the month at 7:30 pm at Village Hall.
