Multifunction Copier/Scanner Lease and Service

The Village of West Dundee, Kane County, Illinois, does hereby invite Proposals for the purpose of lease or rental of 7 multi-function copiers and associated maintenance services in the Village of West Dundee, IL. Proposals will be received by the Village of West Dundee, 900 Angle Tarn, West Dundee, Illinois 60118, until September 30, 2022 by 10:00 am local time. Proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the phrase “Multifunction Copier/Scanner Lease and Service” the Proposing Firm's name and address. It is the responsibility of the Proposing Firm to meet the specified opening time; any Proposals not so received may be returned unopened at the discretion of the Village.

Employment Opportunity: Public Works Water Division Utility Worker II Position

The Village of West Dundee is accepting applications for the position of Utility Worker II. The work involves performing a variety of semi-skilled duties within the Water Division of the Public Works Department. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent with three years of increasingly responsible experience in the operation and maintenance of potable water or sanitary sewer systems; or any combination of training and experience which provides equivalent knowledge, abilities and skills. Must possess or obtain in a timely fashion an Illinois Class ‘B’ Commercial Drivers License with air brakes endorsement and tanker endorsements within six (6) months of hire. The Village of West Dundee is accepting applications for the position of Water Operator. The work involves performing a variety of semi-skilled duties within the Water Division of the Public Works Department. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent with five years of increasingly responsible experience in the operation and maintenance of potable water systems; or any combination of training and experience which provides equivalent knowledge, abilities and skills. Must have possession of a valid Illinois Class “C” Water License at minimum and the ability to obtain a valid Illinois Class “B” Operator in Training status within one year of hire. Must possess or have the ability to obtain an Illinois Collection System Operator Certification or greater Wastewater Certification within one year of hire. Must possess or obtain an Illinois Class “B” commercial driver’s license with air brake and tanker endorsements within 6 months of employment. IMRF Employer Cost & Participation Information

In 2019, the Illinois General Assembly passed Public Act 101-0504, which amends part of the Illinois Pension Code. The law requires the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) to maintain post certain employer cost and participation information on its website, and that that municipalities with a website post a link to this page. IMRF will update these reports annually.
